Guitar Hero 5: Se podrán usar avatares en Xbox 360 y Wii

En Guitar Hero 5 podremos usar los avatars para emular a sus satánicas majestades los Rolling Stone, o cantar como el melosillo de Coldplay para ganarte los alagos de tu novia, o volverte loco y quemarlo todo con Du Hast de Rammstein.
El nuevo Guitar Hero incluirá funciones para poder jugar con tu propio avatar y tocar junto a tus amigos de Live. Podrás emular a los grandes del Rock con el aspecto que se te antoje y más ahora que los avatares de 360 tienen la posibilidad de añadirle complementos o ropas de Jedi, del Jefe Maestro e incluso de un Locust.
Se añade un nuevo modo de juego Party Play en el que los componentes del grupo pueden variar en mitad de la cancion tanto como la dificultad como el instrumento que se está tocando.
Tambien está el modo RockFest con de 4 a 8 jugadores en red local y que constara con los siguiente variaciones adicionales en dicho modo de juego:
- “Impulso”, el juego se adapta la dificultad de la pista de la nota sobre la base de lo bien que está jugando el jugador con más puntos de recompensa por permanecer en el “Expert” dificultad.
- “Eliminación” en el peor jugador que se cae periódicamente
- “Perfeccionista” donde sólo ciertas secciones de una canción a cuenta de los puntos
- “Do-o-morir” que obliga a un jugador que esperar un breve tiempo, si que se pierda una nota
- “Streakers” que premia al jugador para las cadenas largas de notas consecutivas”
